An 800 sqm furniture flagship store reduces conventional display logic, using black-white restraint, red-black interiors and symbolic geometry to sharpen brand memory.
Design Concept
Responding to BEIMU's simplified brand attitude, the store weakens the usual furniture showroom emphasis on dense product placement. The design instead frames the visit through a more cinematic sequence of facade, corridor, red object and staircase.
Spatial Experience
A black-and-white exterior with small windows prepares visitors for a more intense interior. Inside, long corridors, mirror surfaces and geometric stair forms stretch the sense of depth, while multiple casual meeting areas replace a single VIP-room logic.
Materials / Lighting / Display Strategy
Black, white and red build a direct visual system. The red sphere acts as an anchor for wayfinding and brand recall, while light and reflection help the furniture store feel exploratory rather than static.
DesignFan Editorial Note
For DesignFan, BEIMU shows how a retail interior can create emotional connection by editing down. The fewer elements the store uses, the more clearly the brand mood reads.
